• Ready for the next step in your journey?

If people really knew what you’ve been through or where you came from, they might never look at you the same way again.  It’s been hard.  So hard.  Maybe it’s still that hard. Or maybe you are finally at a place where you feel like you have room to breathe and all of sudden it’s catching up to you.  You’ve survived but not without scars.

I see your pain and I’m ready to walk through it with you.

My name is Tara and I connect with clients on difficult journeys because I’ve been down hard roads too.  I felt the world turn upside down, when I was pregnant with my son and he was diagnosed with a life limiting disorder.  I’ve learned to walk through the hard things with many of the same tools that I share with clients.

I help clients make sense of their stories and understand how they have been shaped by them. I’ll meet you where you are and give you space to understand what you’ve been through so you can heal.  You’ll be able to say the ugly things that you can’t say out loud anywhere else.  We figure out the parts you need to grieve and the places where you can make changes so life looks different going forward.

I’m dedicated to helping clients break cycles, heal relationships, and grow through the things that could have destroyed them.

    About Tara

I have experience counseling individuals, couples and groups.  For three years, I’ve had the honor of working with students and sexual assault or interpersonal violence survivors on a college campus.  Throughout that time, I’ve helped clients with many different challenges including PTSD, depression, anxiety, eating concerns, and relationship challenges.

I have completed level 1 Gottman couples counseling and am currently being trained in emotionally focused counseling for couples.
